Auto filtering in subgrid (power apps)

Hi,

I am new to Power Apps.

I have a main Transfer Order (sales) main form which requires the user to fill in the customer's name.  I also have a subgrid which displays historical sales information.  Both the main form and subgrid uses the same dataverse table. In the subgrid I use the filter to filter the customer's name to see orders specific to this customer.

Is it possible to automatically filter the customer's name with information from the Transfer Order (sales) main form?

Thank you for your help

Stephen

    Hi @Anonymous ,

May not be exactly what you are looking for but check out the following preview grid from Microsoft that provides nested grid functionality.

So this SubGrid is using a view (when you configured the subgrid, you have to choose what view to show) you can go into that view or make a new one and make the changes you want. Like this

    Step by step would be:

Step 1: Look for what view on the sub-grid is used

Step 2: Go to table you are referencing (In my case Tasks) and click views

Step 3: Find the view that the sub-grid pointed to in step one

Step 4: Edit filter or sort any way you'd like
