How to get Sub folder library and its files in gallery

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to getting a SharePoint sub folders files in the gallery but its get the null data.in the SharePoint there are a 2000 plus folders and files.

example :

Account - SubFolder1-Files(In SubFolder1)

Below formula work on gallery item:

Search(
    SortByColumns(
        Filter(
            Account,
            'Folder path' = "Account/SubFolder1/"
        ),
        "{IsFolder}",
        SortOrder.Descending,
        "{Name}",
        SortOrder.Ascending
    ),
    txtSearchBox_1.Value,
    "{FilenameWithExtension}"
)

Please help me.

Do you, by any chance, receive any errors?

It seems you are referencing the Value property of a Text Input control in the Search function, but that should be the Text property:

Search( SortByColumns( Filter( Account, 'Folder path' = "Account/SubFolder1/" ), "{IsFolder}", SortOrder.Descending, "{Name}", SortOrder.Ascending ), txtSearchBox_1.Text, "{FilenameWithExtension}" )

Text Input controls do not have a Value property.

Thank you so much for your response.

I am trying to .Text in the textbox control but its property is value.

This issue is facing on custom page on account entity ribbon button. whenever click on button the account sub folder data is not filtering but in the power apps studio in custom page edit mode data is filter for the subfolder when i am passing the static URL.

Please help me why this type of issue i am facing.

Hi @vijay1234567 ,

I see now the formula is not delegable and you have over 2000 items in your library. Just how much over 2000? It could be this is the reason you are not seeing anything since the items you are looking to filter out are outside of the first 2000 items in the library. Can you confirm?

Hi @BCBuizer ,

There are a 400,000 plus folders and files within the Account library. When you try to filter the files it gives folders and files within the sub folder.

Hi @vijay1234567 ,

This video provides a hack on how to deal with this type of delegation although it may not be feasible for you because of the prerequisites. However, system columns such as 'Folder path' are not delegable and will therefore always cause issues.

Thank you very much for your response. i have follow this article in which create some custom columns and used in the gallery filter same as article but problem is on crm ribbon button data is not showing.

please help me.

Can you please provide some more context on what you mean by "on crm ribbon button data is not showing"? How does that relate to what was discussed previously?

Now, data is show properly on click ribbon button and after creating custom fields and used filter.

But now one more issue whenever used search or column function then again data is not showing on button click and app edit mode and get the delegation on custom field.

Formula :

Search(
SortByColumns(
Filter(
Account,
HiddenFolderPath = "Account/SubFolder1/"
),
"HiddenIsFolder",
SortOrder.Descending,
"HiddenName",
SortOrder.Ascending
),
txtSearchBox_1.Value,
