PDF function hanging with 676 row datatable

Have a 676 row data table, PDF is hanging and popping up the "Wait / Close" browser prompt you get when the browser is hung.  I understand it doesn't handle a lot of data but is 676 rows of data in a data table control too much for PDF()?
