Can anyone confirm a license is needed for users to use a canvas app with Copilot control embedded? The user has an E3 license and getting this app. Do they need an additional per app license?

Yes, users will need an additional license to use a canvas app with Copilot control embedded.

The E3 license alone is not sufficient. Users will need a Power Apps per app or per user plan to access the Copilot control in a canvas app.

This is such a money grab by Microsoft. So now users have to pay an E type license, then CoPilot Studio license and premium per app/user license on top just to use CoPilot on PowerApps.

I would recommend to shop around for better value chat services. There are plenty chat vendors that have a better pricing system.
