Query in Model Driven Apps - PrintOut of App Output | Fresh entry with reference to existing entry | Add multiple rows of data | How to customise Table columns view

Hi,

I have 3 questions reagrding Model Driven Apps. They are listed below:-

1. Whether i can take print outs of the "Outputs" - that i will create after running my App. I require this as i  have to send the Output in Paper Form to my clients outside my organisation. I am developing an app to create "Open Access (OA) Applications" (Sample Format enclosed) and i want that once the OA application is created by Power Apps, i get a printable output. Is it possible?

2. Can we create a "New" Entry in an App, which will be in reference to the old entry (with some modification), as i don't want my users to fill all the information again and again, barring a few changes which will i will do after duplicating the Old Entry. Suppose i create an OA application bearing number 10000 in Power Apps, can i create another OA application  say 10001 by utilizing application 10000 (i.e. something of a pre-filled type of form) or i will have to start afresh and do all the entries to create OA Application.

3. Please go through S. No. 3 - "Scheduling Request" in the Image at S. No.1 . Can i create something like the Image below, wherein i have options to add or delete rows (through Model Driven Apps). Please let me know.

4. I am inside the Table called "Injecting Entity". Every Time i open it, i always see "Created By", Created ON" and so on columns. Many a times, i tried to change the view to just see my "Custom Created" columns only by selecting the required columns. But whenever i log-in next time , it restores to its original below as displayed below:-

Any help please on all the 4 points.

Regards,

    Hello, @SA_VOH

YES, Once your data saved into the dataverse table, you can use Power Automate Flows to fill out a word template and then generate a PDF from it. Check this tutorial for how to do that: https://powerplatformplace.com/blog/f/generate-word-pdf-documents-from-dataverse-related-tables%E2%9C%A8?blogcategory=Power+Automate

YES BUT, there is OOB feature in the MDAs can do this. One easy way to do this is to embed a Canvas app inside your Table form and use Power Fx to achieve this requirement. Here is a tutorial on how to embed a canvas app inside a Dataverse form:

    https://powerplatformplace.com/blog/f/embed-canvas-app-into-model-driven-app-full-tutorial?blogcategory=PowerApps+%28Model-Driven%29

    3. Please go through S. No. 3 - "Scheduling Request" in the Image at S. No.1 . Can i create something like the Image below, wherein i have options to add or delete rows (through Model Driven Apps). Please let me know. NO BUT, you can create editable grids to edit and delete specific rows but won't be able to add new row using the example you gave. This can be achieved through another embedded canvas app.

    4. I am inside the Table called "Injecting Entity". Every Time i open it, i always see "Created By", Created ON" and so on columns. Many a times, i tried to change the view to just see my "Custom Created" columns only by selecting the required columns. But whenever i log-in next time , it restores to its original below as displayed below:- This is the table's designed view, create custom view and add the needed columns, sort and filter as needed. Then the views can be used in your MDA. End-user should not interact with your data view the table design view.
