Unable to install prerequisites

I am trying to follow this article to create my first component..

Create your first component using Power Apps Component Framework in Microsoft Dataverse - Power Apps | Microsoft Docs

I cannot get passed the prerequisites.  The article states to download Visual Studio but fails properly to mention which one.  I do not see the option it is telling me to install.

I go to this page an there is no "VS for Windows AND Mac".  There's VS for MAC and then many flavors for Windows.  I picked the community edition as it seemed like what I should use.

I don't see the option they ask for in the article.  It says .Net Build Tools.

Which workload should I be picking?

Maybe No components and hit install.  I sure would like the instructions to be clear.

For PCFs, you will find it much easier to work with Visual Studio Code, in my opinion. You can still get it done with Visual Studio (Any of the three, including Community Edition will work) but Visual Studio Code is just easier to work with for SPA development, in my opinion.

That's the confusion part.  In the instructions I'm being asked to install Visual Studio components with the download instead of through VS Code.  After I downloaded Community edition I just checked a few boxes and installed anyway.  After I hit NEXT it appears I already had the required software installed.

This is supposed to be a lesson for user who are learning.  If the instructions aren't clear it sure hampers education.  Clarity is important.

Aaaaahhh... I just looked at that link and I now see what the confusion is here.

The only reason they are telling you to install Visual Studio is so that you get the MSBuild tools and Visual Studio Developer Command Prompt (because it includes MSBuild in the Path natively). You didn't need to install any specific tooling at all; just the bare bones install is perfectly adequate.
