Power Apps Subscription plans

Hi,

We are about to subscribe to a plan but before that I would like to make sure I have understand the rules correctly.
The term "Run unlimited apps and portals per user for one flat monthly rate" does that include all the users in the network can run the Power Apps without the need to have a separate license for each one of them?

I am making a simple forms and I need the users to submit information to emails, so any user in the network must be able to do this task.

I am aware of if any SharePoint pages or Dataverse tables used must be set to give permission to everyone in the network so they can see/edit the information.

Cheers

In any of the two cases that I told you the other users need a Power App license to be able to see the Portals/App.

If your company already have the Power Apps for Office 365 license for all the users, in that case they should be able to access and use all the apps.  But in that case, you cannot use premium features, like Dataverse to store your data or some premium connectors. So, if your app uses this premium features then this is not the best option.

There are other alternatives you might consider doing:

If your company has a user who just need the access for a short time, then you could Explore Power Apps for free for 30 days, and then decide if you want to purchase a license. You can explore all the Power Apps capabilities for free by signing up for a 30-day Power Apps trial plan. Check this link for more info about it: Power Apps 30-day free trial - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn

Power Apps pay-as-you-go plan: which allows individual users to run applications (1 app or 1 portal) without any licenses via Azure subscription. You only pay for the number of users who used the app in a month.  But in this case, you need to have the Azure subscription. See Preview: Pay-as-you-go plan

Common use cases with this plan: Use the pay-as-you-go plan for apps that need to be shared with a large user base with infrequent and/or unpredictable use.

Check this for more details about licenses: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2085130

If you have any other question, I'm happy to help!

    Thank you for your reply.

So does that mean in any of the two cases the other users needs a Power App licene to be able to see the Portals/Apps?

That is difficult to know because we are many and sometimes new users join the company or they get assigned to other taskes and doesn't need the access anymore.

What about the "Power Apps add-ons" is it the same case? because our company has only the "Power Apps for Office 365" for all the users.

    Regards

    Hello @HHakim

Thats the Per User Plan: "Run unlimited apps and portals per user for one flat monthly rate". This applies only for one user. If you want other users to be able to run the Apps, you need to purchase more licenses.

In case you just need the users to access one App, you could consider the Per App Plan. With this plan you can "Run one app or portal per user, stacking licenses for access to each additional as their needs change".
