powerapps error for "Office365-User.UserProfile": No connection is configured for this service

Hi together,

I have a problem with an app that is used by around 120 users every day. When the app is opened, the Office365 user profile is retrieved and synchronised with a sharepoint to check the permissions.

For one user, we occasionally get the following error message:

powerapps error for "Office365-User.UserProfile": No connection is configured for this service

We have already tried deleting and reconnecting the connection and have also had the Azure account checked. All without success so far.

Do you have any other ideas as to why this could be?

    hi @Toda

I have only seen this in 2 situations.

    1. The connection itself doesn't have permission WHEN its that person

    2. The person didn't consent the Connector when it popped up.

Have them clear their cache and try again if that doesn't do you'll have to do this with them, also try incognito etc and / or other browsers

Step 1. Close them close their App (stop it running)

Step 2. Go to the Apps tab of power apps

Step 3. Find your app and click the ... so that you get the pop up menu. Select Monitor

Step 4. Once Monitor is running select the menu item that says Play published version/app

Step 5. in the app cause the issue to happen

Step 6. Go to the Monitor and Filter (top right) based on Error, or key word. Go to the line or lines that match this

Step 8. Look at the Response Tab and you will have to expand the Body > and the Header >. Then look at the body to see more details on the error
Do this for each line you find

Step 9. On each line, also check the Code being executed on Tab 2

This should tell you why its not happening error wise. The error itself is an authorization error, but why its randomly happening is a weird thing unless the person is using multiple browsers and possibly multiple logins across them to support or do development, which would end up confusing the Connector sometimes

If I have helped you, I would really appreciate if you please Mark my answer as Resolved/Answered, and give it a thumbs up, so it can help others

    Cheers

    Hi,

thanks a lot for your sugesstions!

I have followed your tips, unfortunately without success.

Deleting the cookies has not brought any change and I could not find any error or other anomaly in the monitored session either.

Switching between Chrome and Edge didn't help either.

Our IT department has already checked the user profile, but couldn't find anything either.

Even if the colleague logs in on a different PC, the same error occurs, other users work.

The only thing I have noticed in a direct comparison is that the app takes significantly longer to load for him than for other users.
