Adding a signature to an app

Hi all 

Im new to Power Apps, 

 

Is there a way to add a signature box that the app user can sign and then is recorded in a sharepoint list or an excel database 

 

i have been using jotforms which was easy to do this 

 

i have looked at other post and they didn't seem to answer the question 

 

any help appreciated

    PowerApps has a control called Pen Input that does this. It can be found in the Studio on the Insert tab, click on Text Input and Pen Input is at the bottom.

    For SharePoint, you can add a Pen control to the attachments card on your form. Then set the card's Update action to:

    {
        Value:PenInput1.Image,
        DisplayName: "peninput.jpg",
        Id: 0,
        AbsoluteUri: ""
    }
     
    That will save the signature as an attachment on the SharePoint list item when you submit the form.

    Or...if you have an image field, you can add the Pen control to the image field's data card and set the Update property to: PenInput.Image (whatever the Pen control's name is).
