Office365.FindMeetingTimes only returns available rooms for 30 minute time slots

Hey there,

I'm adjusting the time "Book a Room" Power App for a school.

And since the timetable of the school does not only involve timeslots starting at hh:30 or hh:00, I had to adjust the time selection so that also times like 09:15 or 10:45 could be selected.

But now I have the problem, that the function "Office365.FindMeetingTimes" does not return any results for those times, although the room mailbox would be available.

I already tried changing the "TimeIncrement"-value of the room mailboxes using the PowerShell but that does not seem to have any effect.

When I try to use the room mailboxes for appointments in the Outlook calendar, there isn't any problem with times like 09:15 or similar.

Does anyone have an idea how I can trick the FindMeetingTimes-function into giving me results for hh:15 appointments?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi @Anonymous ,

Do you mean that even your time time has time like "hh:15", Office365.FindMeetingTimes will not return the results related to this kind of time?

Usually, Office365.FindMeetingTimes will not have limit about whether it is integer time.

Please check this limit which may lead to this problem:

The _allRoomsConcat variable is set to a semicolon-separated string of the first 20 email addresses of the rooms in the AllRooms collection. This is because the Office365.FindMeetingTimes is limited to searching for the available times of 20 person objects in a single operation.

The RoomTimeSuggestions collection uses the Office365.FindMeetingTimes to retrieve the availabilities of the first 20 rooms in the AllRooms collection, based on the time values from the _selectedMeetingTime variable. Note that the & "Z" is used to properly format the DateTime value.

Here's a doc about this template app in details for your reference:

Yes exactly. When I select a time in the hh:15 format, for example 09:15, this is directly converted to a StartTimeUTC String and then passed to the Office365.FindMeetingTimes function. But this function only seems to reply with available rooms, if the StartTime is hh:00 or hh:30. And I have no idea why.

Unfortunately the documentation of the example meeting app you linked to, is a bit too old and the newest version of "Book a room" uses some different mechanisms.

For example the time is directly translated to UTC when a time is selected by the user:

    Set(StartDateTimeUTC; Text(DateAdd(StartDateTime; TimeZoneOffset(); Minutes); "[$-en-US]yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm") & ":00.000Z");;

But I do not believe that the problem is anywhere there, because the time variable all seem to be good and there are no more than 20 rooms I use (9 actually) and all of them aren't used by any other apps or users yet, so I am sure, that they are available at any time...

Thank you for your answer, maybe you have some more ideas, what could be the problem.

    Cheers,

    Lukas
