Hi All

I am hurting my head thinking about this and as I am new to this, I need some help. I am looking for the correct formula for the below:

The data is in a SharePoint list. Using the drop down I want to select a number. Then in the box with the error, I want to add up the specific numbers of a column based on the selection from the drop down - please help!

You get the dropdown value using dropDownName.Selected.Value.

Not sure what you mean by add up the specific numbers of a column based on the selection from the drop down

Show the formula that you are trying to create?

It is extremely hard to understand the challenge that you are facing and the result you want to achieve from the way you have structured your question.

1. How is your data structured?

2. Is your goal to create a cascaded filter i.e., the results of the second dropdown/combo box are dependent on the value selected in the first dropdown/combo box?

If you have Sharepoint list with contracts, each contract has its own number (ID) and you want to sum up values of selected contract, then you can do something like this:

Set dropdown Items parameter to your Sharepoint data connector.

Set dropdown field to contract number.

In sum field use this function:

Dropdown.Selected.columnToSum1+ Dropdown.Selected.columnToSum2
