Importing data to dataverse

Trying to import a csv file as a table in powerapps - data - Tables - Import.

Either going the "Get Data" and choosing the Text/Csv or trying to use the Import from Excel, I get the same error:

"Import Service is not available".  No explanation or direction.

So, how do I turn or enable the Import service so I can import data?

Thanks,

I have the same question (0)

Hello, @dgray304, Use Dataflows to import data from Excel/csv to Dataverse table. Here is a full tutorial that will help you achieve this:

    Ahmed,

Thanks for your quick response.  Unfortunately, my csv file is on my local harddrive.  So, after choosing a solution, selecting "tables", then get data , then excel ... I choose "Upload files".  Thats when I get the error.

Here is the error: Your account does not have a sufficient license for OneDrive for Business to complete the requested action. Please contact your organization’s Office 365 administrator.

Does this mean I need a OneDrive for Business instead of the basic OneDrive?

Hello, @dgray304 there is a workaround if you don't have a OneDrive for Business. Check this solution here. You will have to use the web connector instead:

After 10's of 10's of searches and hundreds of articles, post, phone calls to MS I got it working

by purchasing OneDrive for Business.  It's amazing that none of the articles, error messages ... even the power apps tech support never mentioned you can't use a personal onedrive.

Anyhow, it works only for using the get data, not from excel. But there is a connector for Excel under the "get data" option.

A silly little note would have saved me a week.
