Can I use Power Automate with a Shared MS Form

Can I user Power Automate with a Shared Form?
I have created a Power Flow to take MS Forms Data and dump it into an Excel file when a new response comes in.  Easy enough.

How do I do this when I want to use a Form someone else created, but shared to me?
I tried using the form ID I see in the URL but that didn't work.

I haven't found a way and I see a decent number of posts on other forums where people could use this feature.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

I have the same question (0)

Hi @ironpixel, can you share a little more details on what is meant by MS Form? Do you mean Forms Pro (Customer Voice), a model-driven app (CDS) form? Thanks

@EricRegnier - we are using Microsoft Forms right now, not Forms Pro (Customer Voice)

We have multiple forms we are using for surveys.

I have created a Power Flow to take MS Forms Data and dump it into an Excel file when a new response comes in, but that only works if I created the Form.

I'd like to do the same with the Forms my teammates have generated and shared to me, but it seems like since I am not the owner, I am not allowed to do this.

    Thanks!

    Hi

Was there ever a resolution to this?

I can't seem to get my Powerautomate flow to work with a form a colleague created and shared with me.

It's necessary it works like this as I am helping a team out in the organisation to set this up.

    Thanks

    Graham

    Hi @GrahamThomson,

It definitely possible and have done this a few times in the past. You will not see the forms from someone else in the drop-down because by default you'll only see the forms you created. The trick is to select "enter custom value" and then paste the form ID: Example if this is the survey/form URL
    https://forms.microsoft.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=LTs1aboJnE6oNMjUliqYhZNy_W1isXBKERIC84nWESNUN1pBRVpLRk04RkFHSENKR1RTWjJDS1owNS4u
    then the ID is: LTs1aboJnE6oNMjUliqYhZNy_W1isXBKERIC84nWESNUN1pBRVpLRk04RkFHSENKR1RTWjJDS1owNS4u

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks @EricRegnier

I'll give it another go. I had previously pasted in the ID to "enter custom value"  but could not seem to get it to work.

    Much appreciated!

Hey, did this work for you? I have the same problem and struggle with the ID path

I'm assuming you'll need to be a co-owner, i.e. able to see responses in the forms interface. The Id should then work when querying from Power Automate.
