Send email based on form response

Hi

I am trying to create a flow that will send an email based on the response to a form. The form will contain a supplier name and that supplier has an owner.

Neither the supplier owner, nor the supplier owner email will be contained in the form, this is in a separate table mapped to the supplier.

My question is, how can I automate the email to be sent to the supplier owner - so effectively looking at the form and then based on the response, emailing the corresponding supplier owner that a new form has been submitted.

Thanks in advance.

Use a Get items action to return the items from the separate table where you store the e-mail address using a filter query. You will need to do some error handling to make sure only one row is returned matching the supplier, as well as error handling if it does not find a match.

    Hi David

That's great, thanks for the quick response.

Do you have an example of how this works and the syntax etc for the filter query and error handling? I am fairly new to power automate so any examples would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks again for your help.
