Send MS Team Meeting invite from another person's calendar

Hi there,

I have viewed several videos and templates on how to set up meeting invites, and book meeting rooms, using the current Canvas app user's calendar with Teams links etc.

Is there a way that this could be expanded so that those users (let's say Personal Assistant for the CEO), can arrange exactly the same but from the CEO's calendar?

Thanks

K.

    Hi @Kosenurm

We can send an email on behalf of another email address if the user has access to that email. We need specially assign permission to each user.

Here are the steps to setup - Send an email or invite on behalf of another user

    • Go to the Office 365 admin center
    • Go to the Users > Active users
    • Select the name of the user (from whom you plan to give a Send on behalf permission) to open their properties pane.
    • On the Mail tab, select Manage mailbox permissions
    • Next to Send on behalf, select Edit.
    • Select Add permissions, then choose the name of the user or users that you want to allow to send an email on behalf of this mailbox.
    • Select Save.

Thank you for the information. All this is set up but how can we utilise this in Power Automate?

    Thanks
    K.

Still, we need to share the (CEO) calendar with the specific user (Assistant).

    • Go to the user's calendar
    • Go to Sharing and Permissions

In Power Automate, the User (CEO) calendar should display on the dropdown

Another possible option is to use Microsoft Graph with Power Automate as well.
