Lost data when moving between Slides

I am losing data when I am going to the next page, but when I go back I do not lose any of my data. I can see the app refresh the page when I am moving forward. I can only see this problem when I am using the published app. When come back to the page and re-enter my data and then move forward to the next page, The data does not get lost.

Is there any way to have my text inputs, labels, and combo boxs to hold on to the data?

If its on another page you can just set default to a variable. When app starts up Set() the variable, and then update the variable by set() again to the text input in the onchange portion or in the page change button onselect

I save the data by uploading the data onto a collection when a clicked a button that allowed me to move to the next slide. The text input, labes, and everything else where always reading from my collection (defaults was).
