Integrated SharePoint App Permissions

If I customize a SharePoint List from Power Apps (i.e., in the list, so that the app shows to the right of the data), how are permissions applied?

That is, I'm assuming users who have read / write permissions will be able to use the app. But who has permission to make changes to the app?

Is there a link to any documentation on this?

    hi @hilary_stoupa ,

    I like the question 😊.

    Here is how it works:

    1. User with Read access can read the values (no change for them)
    2. User will contribute access can update the list item and also can make the changes to the form
Note: A contributor in SharePoint can create a new list item and also can create a view on the list, so they can update the PowerApps form
    3. Owner can changes the form
    4. Certainly, a site collection admin can change the form

I hope this resolved your issue if you see any challenge/need further help please let me know I am always happy to do it for my community.

    Regards,
    Krishna

I just tested this with a colleague.

When she had contribute permissions, she was not able to edit the integrated app.

When I gave her full control, she was able to edit the integrated app.

So, although I marked an answer as the solution, I think the answer is not correct. Unless someone can direct me to some Microsoft documentation that outlines the permissions around this, I'll assume that the user must have at least full control of the list to edit the forms.
