Table Column Field Lookup members invited to the team in Dataverse for Teams

I want to add an 'assigned to' column within a table, which uses a lookup where the reference table would be the members that have been invited to the team in which the power app and dataverse table is being developed.

The lookup list would grow or shrink as people are invited/ uninvited from the team.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Yes, it is possible to achieve this in Power Apps using a lookup column that references the members invited to the team in Dataverse for Teams. Here's how you can do it:

    1. Create a new table or modify an existing table in your Dataverse for Teams environment to include an "Assigned To" column of type Lookup.
    2. Set the reference table for the lookup column to be the table that contains the members invited to the team. This table should have a unique identifier column (e.g., Member ID) and a display name column (e.g., Member Name).
    3. In the Power App, add a data source for your Dataverse for Teams environment if you haven't already done so.
    4. Add a form or gallery control to display the table records where you want to show the "Assigned To" column.
    5. Configure the form or gallery control to include the lookup column by adding a label or dropdown control and binding it to the "Assigned To" column.
    6. Set the Items property of the label or dropdown control to the table of members invited to the team. This can be done using the formula: MembersTable.
    7. In the control properties, set the DataField property to the unique identifier column of the lookup column (e.g., Member ID) and the DisplayField property to the display name column (e.g., Member Name).
    8. Save and run the Power App.

With these steps, you'll have a lookup column that references the members invited to the team in Dataverse for Teams. As the list of invited members grows or shrinks, the dropdown list will automatically update in the Power App to reflect the changes.
