Connection between SharePoint list and Power Apps form

Hello,

I've created a PowerApps form, for which SharePoint list is connected.

Just wanted to check, if I'm providing read only access to users for the SharePoint list, will the users still we able to enter new records / edit records in PowerApps form, which will be then stored to SharePoint list

Please advise. Because I do not want users to go an update/add any record directly in SharePoint.

Thanks

    Hi Prem,

Have you created the list customizing form in powerapps?

    Prem,

If the form is linked to powerapps then when clicking the new item it will open the powerapps form only.

But when the click on the Edit Grid View they can perform the edit of existing items and add new items too.

If you need to stop this you need to hide the button using SPFx framework.

Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item

In-addition to that, if the have switched the form settings it will take the default form settings too.
