Now that Microsoft Graph onlineMeeting https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/application-post-onlinemeetings?view=graph-rest-1.0&tabs=http supports also the Application permissions and is no longer in beta you can call this from Dataverse and add a Microsoft Teams Link to the out of the box Appointment entity.
I've created a simple Plugin that calls the onlineMeeting Endpoint and returns to the Appointment the Online Meeting details and inserts it into the Description field.
