Advanced Form - Cancel button

Is there an easy way to have a cancel button for an advanced form with steps?

I need to keep the "Start New Session On Load" set to no as it is a requirement that a user can go back in.

I just need a way to cancel a process once it's started.

Thanks
Lee

    @ragavanrajan

I followed the instructions, but the button still isn't there?

For the workflow, I just create an ordinary workflow (or Power Automate flow?) and get it to remove the session?

    Thanks

    Hi @lee-martin

    Yes workflow is required.

For me, the button was only appearing on the top. Could be some CSS issue.

Did you follow the instructions as per my screenshot.

Alternatively, you can place the button outside the form using bootstrap and you can try power automate. The idea here is to delete the recently created record or set the value of the session load to false.

    Hope it helps.

    Thanks @ragavanrajan

Do I need to put in an actual workflow for this?

Also the button does not appear at all - Will this be a CSS issue?

    Thanks

    Hi @lee-martin

    Pre:

You have to create a workflow - set the action as "update row" pick the table as "Advanced Form" set the value on session load to No.

    In Portal management

    1. Under Content > Advanced Forms > select your advanced form

    2.  Choose the step where you want to add the custom button

    3.  Click on the Additional Functionality tab

    4. Add a Workflow Action button configuration

    5. Provide the Button name, description, etc.

    6. Once done hit save and close

Note: For some reason, the button was only appearing on the top.

    In Portal studio:

Hit Sync config and browse the website> Press Ctrl + F5

    Hope it helps.
