Automated calculation of Days between Dates

Hi All,

I want to calculate the days between a submission of a record and today, preferably automated and within the dataverse.

I have a rollup colum which automatically looks for newest submission and returns this date ('Latestsubmissiondate'), in a new column I want it to display how old the record is, in days.

The UTC Today also isnt working.

Anyone some ideas?

Hi @KroontjeM,

The date calculation scenario you have above is a well known limitation right now with formula columns. You can only use UTCNow if your other column has the same date behavior.

Hopefully they plan to resolve this limitation by the time formula columns reach general availability as its a common scenario.

In the meantime, you can fallback to using the older calculated columns.

I know this is an old post. I was looking to create the same type of scenario and this is what worked for me.

Formula:
DateDiff('Modified On', Now())

days since screen...
