Is it possible to use the badge avatar only?

Hello,
 
Yesterday, I discover the modern control Avatar and I would like to use only the availability icon (countered in red) :
 
I try the control Badge with the same value but it shows a text value, no way to have a picture with the badge control.

    finally some of the modern controls are generally available but only a few. this one is not part of it.
     
    i wont suggest using it as of now cause they can cause issues and if they work one day does not mean they also work the other day.
