Impossible make buttons clickable inside a card in FormView pressable

Good morning, everyone,
I am customizing list forms for a SharePoint site in powerApps.
For styling reasons I can't insert the buttons outside the form, so I created cards in each screen (New, Edit, View) where I inserted the buttons.
In the FormNew I have no problem the buttons work fine.
In the FormView, if I try the form in the editor everything ok but when I publish it they are not clickable.
The FormView has the DefaultModes: FormMode.Edit
The card with the buttons has DisplayMode:P arent.DisplayMode but I tried setting it to Edit as well.
The buttons have DisplayMode:Parent.DisplayMode but I tried setting it to edit.

In the card I only put the 3 buttons
I tried copying the buttons to the same card as FormNew and they work
I tried copying a button from the FormNew that works into the FormView and it doesn't work there
What am I wrong in?

Thanks

    hey @simno

i have never tried to insert a button in a viewform, normally the viewform is only for viewing, what would the button in there do?

    Hi @simno ,

The button in Form with View mode can't be clicked even if you set the button to Edit. If you want to make the button clickable and other fields can't be editable in the Form, you should set the Form to New or Edit and set controls in other data cards to View mode manually.

    Best regards,

    Rimmon

Ok ... sorry but I am a self-taught person who learned from youtube videos how do I do this.
I know it sounds like a trivial question for you but not how to do it!

Can you explain me how to do this?

    Thanks

    hey @simno

no worries we also started somewhere xD.

you can set the whole form to displaymode.edit or new. this is setting all datacards to the same displaymode.

you have the different datacards in your treeview:

you select the one u want to make view only and on the right hand side tab you hit advanced and unlock the datacard.

after u have done this, you can search for the displaymode property of this datacard and set it to Displaymode.view.

that will only effect this datacard, repeat with others u wanna modify

Let me know if my answer helped solving your issue.

If it did please accept as solution and give it a thumbs up so we can help others in the community.

    Greetings

    Hi @simno ,

    Sure.😀

Set the Mode of Form to Edit or New.

    vmengmlimsft_0-1715764874983.png

Set controls in data card to View but set Button which you want it to be clickable to Edit. Same for other controls in other data cards.

When user opens the Form, only controls which you set Edit can be clicked. It equals to insert clickable button in a "View" Form.

    Best regards,

    Rimmon

the DefaultMode is already FormMode.Edit and the other controls are on View but it doesn't work, it was a solution I had found online but it doesn't work for me.
I also tried deleting the DataCard and creating a new Field but it still doesn't work
