Hello everyone,
in the past it's usually been enough to set the "Fill" property of a control to just "Transparent" and Power Apps would automatically recognized that it's supposed to be Color.Transparent.Lately this isn't the case for me anymore. Every property has to be manually set to Color.Name. That usually wouldn't be too much of a problem since I usually use RGBA(x,x,x,x) anyway, but I'm using a lot of components where color properties were just set to Transparent and they all have to be manually repaired now. Is anyone else experiencing the same? Is there an app or environment setting that could cause this behaviour?
Yes, that's correct, the newer update to the editor version means that all enums (colors, fonts, sortorder, etc etc) now need to be declared explicitly... bit of a pain tbh, will take some adjusting to!
Thank you for clarifying. Kinda feels like a downgrade to me, but at least I can be sure now that it wasn't just a dream that it worked before.
Agreed, I can see why they might be doing it to support other new functions being implemented (easier to code stuff when you don't need to worry about detecting aliases for enums), but it will be a pain after having use the names for 4 years now...
