We are planning an app based on several CDS entities.
Among others, we need entities with "Countries" (All Countries on earth) and "Languages" (List of most common languages). Before we create custom entities, I wanted to make sure, there's no default entity, we could make use of.
I saw that there's an entity called "Languages" available. But this entity contains only language id's, no names.
Do I really have to create a custom entity? Or is there anything I don't know yet?

There are no existing entities that are useful here, so you should create new ones.
Note the Language entity is used for installed languages (that allow you to define langague-specific labels and option set values in the UI)
