Hello all,

I hope you day is going well 🙂

Ive only known about tthe Dataverse for a couple of days, and im starting to play with the environment and learn.

But what i realy want to work out how to do is to....

Create a "Ownership Team" using power Automate.

My idea is that i have a table of reports that people need to complete.  but each report/record is only relevent for a group of people.

so i want to use the Ownership column, and drop a ownership team in there, .... so people only ever see the reports they need to complete.

I have worked out how to do most of it ... but i need to create the ownership team, & Add members in the first place.. some how..

can power automate do this ?

Thanks for reading

Keith

    Hi @qpower2,

Will the teams and its team members known ahead of time? If so, I'd recommend using owner Teams and optional as an Azure AD group team.

If the teams are going to be dynamic/unique for every record that needs to be reviewed, then I suggest using Access Team based on an Access Team Template. In Power Automate, you can use the Dataverse connector and its Call a Bound Action to use the AddUserToTeamRecord action to add your members to the access team for a particular record. You'll need to figure out and add the business logic for determining what members you need to add to the access team automatically. If this cent be determined through automation, then you can manually add the users into the access team in the user interface (form) of the record in a model driven app after you've created the record.
