Hi all!
I have three sets of client production KPIs that I am trying to track, for a total of 18 lists in SharePoint (six KPI lists per client). Is it possible to create a single data capture form in Power Apps with six fields that alter their list reference based on a dropdown field at the top (dropdown would contain each client's ID)? Would anyone have a decent link or two that might point the way? I appreciate it!
Hi @dormire01 ,
To make it effective and simple can we try to make use of Power Automate Flow due to multiple lists in place
Any thoughts if you've already tried?
Thanks.
I have not worked with Power Automate as of yet, I'm afraid. Would that work in tandem with a Power Apps form(s), or on its own?
Could you please share more details about your scenario? To be clear, one Form could only connect to one data source, so if you would like to use only one form to update all the 6 lists, it's impossible. The alternate approach is to use dropdowns/labels/text inputs that are individually placed on the screen. Although one dropdown is bond to one data source as well, you can place multiple similar controls connect to respective lists and control their visible based on the top dropdown's selected client. Use those standalone controls as well as the Patch function, you will also be able to update the lists.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
