Dataverse column with reference to internal media (icon)

I was trying to create a simple dataverse table to be used in a gallery for a menu.

I have the typical column like menu name text, color, sorting, etc. and when I want to add an icon, I hit a wall.

I have a series of icon in the media collection that I'd like to use, but cannot get the reference to their names to work.

I tried several column types, I tried using as well  the JSON function, but it is not allowed to be used as an image source in the control.

Anyone has an idea how to solve this? Using a collection with the name of the icon works fine...

thanks!

Hello, @MM , Do you mean you want to show those Icons inside a View in a Model-Driven App? Or you are talking about a gallery Control in a Canvas App?

    Hi @MM,

You can use the File Column data type and upload the icons to it. More on File type: https://learn.microsoft.com/power-apps/maker/data-platform/types-of-fields
    Hope this helps!

It was in a Canvas app and I ended up using

    "appres://resources/" & ThisItem.MenuIcon

Seems to work till now. anything that  someone knows against this approach?
