Recreating Referential Integrity between imported entities

Hi,

I wonder if someone can point me in the right direction

I have imported some data into Dynamics CRM, and am trying to restore data relationships between records in different entities, e.g. contacts and organisation, or contacts and notes.

So, I have imported the old reference field in both entities:

Contacts: Organisation

Old Parent Ref <=============> Old Account ID

Parent Account <=============> Account ID

Can someone kindly advise how I can now update the CRM Parent Account field to restore the relationship with the data I have? I have a pretty good idea how I'd do it in SQL, but not a clue how to do it here ...

Perhaps there would be more easier to have an answer to your question, since that forum is more suitable for Dynamics 365 CRM related questions.
