Incorrect dimensions of drop-down item list

Hi there,

does anybody know, why my drop-down item list in my canvas app spreads through the whole screen on Android and iOS devices? I can't find any settings, where I could set the dimensions to be much smaller (like a small pop-up window). Please check my picture attached.

Many thanks for your suggestions! 🙂

    Hi @janklaska ,

It is designed to do this on the mobile app - it (I assume) gives the user more room to select. There are no settings to change this.

Please click Accept as solution if my post helped you solve your issue. This will help others find it more readily. It also closes the item. If the content was useful in other ways, please consider giving it Thumbs Up.

    Hi @WarrenBelz,

I was afraid that I will receive answer such this. But anyway, thank you very much for your confirmation.

    EDIT:

For anybody else, who will encounter the same issue - I implement a kind of work-around in my solution:

    1. I removed the particular form field from edit form menu.

    2. I added a new (empty) drop-down list to my edit screen manually.

    3. I populated list items in that drop-down (manually as well).

    4. Lastly, I used a patch function to update my data source with selected data from that drop-down.

Maybe it will help someone too! 🙂
