Hi everyone,
I need some help with understanding AI Builder credits - below is the scenario;
- Customer has around 5 Power App per app licenses and Power Automate per plan license.
- AI Builder capacity add-on was purchased in August 2021 which entitled the customer for 1,000,000 credits from a CSP.
- Some of the credits have been assigned to the environments and customer has started using AI Builder functionality.
Available to assign;
- We changed CSP and in August 2022, we renewed the AI Builder Add-on with the new CSP.
Question: Shouldn't the number of credits remaining go up to 1,000,000 again, instead of 880,500?
Thanks in advace!
Hi @CedrickB ,
Thank you for the clarification about the AI Builder credits, much appreciated! So this means that as long as we have credits, everything is working as expected.
Thanks again for your input!
Let me try to clarify how Ai Builder credits allocation works.
You got 1M credits from your AI Builder add-on and 500 from Power Apps seeding.
These 1,000,500 credits is what you can consume every month.
When you assign credits to an environment, it means you reserve these credits for this environment so other environments can't consume it.
What I see is that 120,000 credits have been assigned to environments.
100,000 on the screenshot you shared (let's call it env A) and probably 20,000 by someone else on another environement (calling it env B).
As a result, out of the 1,000,500 credits you get each month; 100,000 can be used on env A; 20,000 on env B and the remaining 880,500 can be used on any other environment.
