Migrate data between environments (table contains images)

Hi,

I am trying to migrate data between two exact Tables, between two environments.

I have a table with images and standard columns. I migrated the data using Dataflows (Odata query). I migrated data successfully, but images were not migrated using this method. Here is MS documentation: Migrate data between Microsoft Dataverse environments using the dataflows OData connector - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn

Do you have an idea on how to migrate data between environments, if there are files and images in a table?

Respectfully,

Daniel from Power Universe

Hello, @cycuS, have you tried to use the xrmtoolBox Data Transporter tool? Check it out to see if this will work for you:

    Hey @AhmedSalih again

I was able to fix this issue 🙂

There can be only one primary image column for a table, ale only primary image column can be migrated using this tool. I had more than one image column in this table. To overcome this issue I migrated records with only primary image column. Then I switched primary image column in a dataverse table to the second and I updated records using XRM Toolbox and this second image column.

And it worked. Its important to remember to migrate only primary image column and if you migrated it and you have more image column, so you must update data and change primary column for a table.

Thanks for the hint with this tool.

    Kind regards,

    Daniel
