Dear All

I have a sharepoint list and i used powerapps form. However, when i add new item, then click save, the form shows "Skip to Main Content". Upon checking the powerapps, it shows Delegation warning. The powerapp was working correctly, but it suddenly shows this error.  Please help.

    Hi @Nestedune

First, allow me a quick introduction to understand the issue. Delegation means that the formula that you defined can't be sent back to SharePoint and be filtered there. Power Apps needs to fetch all data and perform all that parsing in the client. Since it cannot parse unlimited data, it limits from 500 to 2000 records. That warning is telling you that you may get incomplete results because of this limitation. You can find here a more complete explanation and a few workarounds.

IsBlank and IsEmpty are not delegable. I built a reference to help to check quickly if a function is delegable or not. You can find it here.

I hope all of this helps you fix the issue, but if not let me know and I'll try to help you as best as I can.

    Dear Manuel

Thank you so much for the update. I already set it to 2000 as per advice. But this does not solved the issue. I dont know what to update to IsBlank and IsEmpty as the app was working previously.

    Hi @Alecarfersa

The issue is in the "First" function. It's not delegable hence the error..

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/functions/function-first-last

"When used with a data source, these functions can't be delegated. Only the first portion of the data source will be retrieved and then the function applied."

    thank you Manuel,

I understand about the delegation message. I ask about the "Skip to Main Content" message.

I think this message is because the form is taking too long to load. But i dont know if i can do something to take off that message.

    Thanks,

    Ale
