How to migrate the Historical data (approximately 1 Lac records) from SQL Server to Microsoft Dataverse
Hi @RKG
Sorry, is LAC 100,000?
There are multiple options here...
1. Dataflows - This article discusses the approach to do this from one Dataverse environment to another but will give you good details on steps anyway... https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/developer/data-platform/dataverse-odata-dataflows-migration
2. Excel - This is my normal approach to be honest but have not tried with 100K records. I usually do with up to maybe 5K records at a time. I use the Data Import Template for the entity and map the fields to this and run the imports
3. 3rd Party Tools - There are a number out there including SmartConnect from eOne Solutions that can be used here but this will cost $$$.
I am sure there are more options here but the above are what I am used to.

thank you for your support
I'm specifically looking an option for the Historical data migration for the SQL Server 2016/19 database table with 50 columns and 100000 records to Microsoft Dataverse?
Much apricate any suggestion on this?
Hi,
You have couple of options to load your data to Microsoft dataverse.
1. You can use Kingsway software which is free and open source - https://www.kingswaysoft.com/products/ssis-integration-toolkit-for-microsoft-dynamics-crm
2. You can write your own Console Application using C# to fetch data from Historical sql and then use Dataverse SDK to load data to microsoft dataverse - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/developer/data-platform/org-service/quick-start-org-service-console-app
Please mark my answer verified if this is helpful!
