What can i do with 5,000 Ai Builder service credits in Power Automate RPA ? My problem is: I have created a IA model to extract form from some tables and some fields in a pdf doccument that have 20 pages more or less. But i just need extract fields in 4 pages on maximum. If i have to extract 200 of these files per month, did this license will work?

You can calculate the number of credits you need for your scenario using the AI Builder capacity calculator. Credits included in Power Automate RPA will let you try AI Builder and then if you need more for your production needs you can buy additional add-ons.

Thanks for the fast answear @Antrod . But the AI Builder Calculator its not very clear because the amont start in 500$. That havent a sheap price to small range of doccuments/pages, like my case that is 200 pdf ? What is the difference betwen 5,000 Ai Builder service credits and the 2 units of AI Builder present in Ai Builder Calculator?

With 5,000 credits you can perform predict on approximatively 10 pages. That's useful to try AI Builder but if you want to process 200+ pages per month you will have to purchase additional add-on units. 1 add-on unit grants you with 1 million AI Builder credits.

How can we get the extra credits for the AI model in power automate, without referring to the different licensing for ai models basically we are using the Attended RPA Plan, and we have consumed all 5000 credits now we are unable to custom AI models.

So I built this template that processes any document just using the less expensive image recognition AI Builder service & GPT.

It seems much less expensive with a much lower barrier to entry only requiring a premium Power Automate license with 5000 AI Builder credits per month & some on-going LLM / GPT costs…

If I’m looking at this right, this method should cost

Image recognition +.0017

GPT prompt & output +.007

Flow actions +.00375

So about $ .013 per page.

Less expensive than any of the other microsoft document/receipt/invoice processing options. And several of those take about 30 seconds to run.
And the 5000 AI Builder credits that come with the now $15 premium Power Automate license is enough for 1500 Image recognition pages. So you could probably process 500-750 documents per month with just 1 premium Power Automate license.

So it seems this method is faster, less expensive, easier to adjust, & requires less set-up than other standard AI builder set-ups.

Once the GPT actions are in general availability, I don’t know why I’d use any of the other services. 🤷‍
