Is that possible to create a connection to Azure Data Lake from PowerApps?

My goal is to create a tracking system app using PowerApps and power automate.

How can I connect it?

I have the same question (0)

    Yes.

If you are looking to read Data Lake content from your canvas app, you can just set up the Lake as a datasource:

If you are looking to copy Dataverse data into a lake, what you are looking for is called Synapse Link. You will find it in the Make.powerapps UI and you can use it to create near-real-time data replication into a lake of your choosing (lake must be in the same region as your dataverse environment).

@cchannon  Thank you for your response.

Data Lake is in the same region. If I want use data Lake same way as Sharepoint list, what do you recommend. I want users to read, add and edit data from canvas app.

Then use the first option I mentioned; simply connect to your data lake using the OOB connector.

@cchannon How about for Azure databricks? Do we have OOB connector?

No, there is no OOB Darabricks connector (see list of all OOB connectors here) but you can also make our own custom one (link).

Funny trap with the "being in the same region" requirement for Synapse link:

Our client had his QAS environment in an different environment as his DEV Environment which causes a problem when we started Deployment.
In this case it is indeed not possible to establish a synapse link.
We wondered why the client set up his environments like that until we recognized that you can only choose "Europe" when creating an environment. DEV was in Europe(West) like all the other resources and QAS in Europe (North).
We reached out to Microsoft and they confirmed that this is done randomly when creating an environment.
Solution: You have to create a support ticket with Microsoft and they transfer the environment to where you need it.
This was done within one businessday and worked fine.

But still: Very special approach. No further comment.
