Hello,
I have been working on an app that connects to Dynamic CRM. Today when I went to go open the app to edit it, this error came up:
The app will open for use, but not for edit. I have checked the Dynamics CRM connection and uninstalled + re-installed PowerApps.
Anyone have a solution to this?
Thank you
Thanks for reporting this issue, it has been fixed in the next release of PowerApps, v.480, which should be releasing this week. The issue happens due to a bug in earlier builds which causes the app source to have an incorrect rule.
For now, there are two options available:
I have the same issue where it works when I open the app to use it, but produces the error when I try to edit it. Let me know if they help you at all or let you know any solutions.
Thanks
Are you getting this problem when you are trying to open your app in Powerapp Studio to edit it or when you are just trying to use it (on the web, in studio or on mobile)?
I'm getting basically the same error as you posted (some details towards the end of the stacktrace are different but much is identical), but it only happens when I try to open my app to edit it. I can open it to use it, both in Studio and on the web (don't have an Android or iOS phone to try mobile yet), but cannot continue editing it (which is a shame because I had a deadline today that I'm going to miss because of the issue).
I'm hopeful that they will be able to fix the issue so that I can finish the app that I'm building for a client. I filed a support ticket on Saturday, but just heard back about an hour ago and don't have any additional information about the problem yet. I'll share here once I do.
