Removing dependencies in a form

Hi all

I am trying to delete an entity in CDS but that entity has a form in it which says it has dependencies to 3 of the fields in the entity (2 of them are shown in the attached screenshot). The form is a brand new "main" form and these three fields have never been added to this particular form.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of these dependencies?

Check this documentation for your issue. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/developer/common-data-service/dependency-tracking-solution-components . It looks like it may not be easily done.

I had a good read of that and I've managed to delete the entity - although I'm not sure what I did to allow me to do so - possible something to do with publishing! I'm only a beginner and didn't even know I had a "solution" to look at!

But - I've done it, so thank you very much!

Hi @sdowse

If you are unsure what you did to remove the dependencies then it sounds like you needed to publish. You can remove dependencies but unless you publish the customisations then the system still thinks they are a dependency.
