Hi everyone,
i build a responsive Power App for mobile use with an Samsung Active Tab3 Tablet running Android 13. When i look up the specifications for my tablet, it gives me a resolution of 1920x1200. In the editor preview, i can choose the active tab3 as preview device and it only states a resolution of 1280x800.
Fast forward to my problem: when i start the app on the tablet, the resolution is way to small. For debugging purposes i added a text field which displays the "App.Width" and"App.Height" properties. When playing the app with my newly created text field, it says the app has only a resolution of 960x600.
Does anyone now this problem and a solution?
This is still an issue to this day, and it doesnt help since we cannot build our app to have the correct sizing based on pixels alone, as all devices are different.
My pixel 7pro has a resolution around 2560x1440 ish, but reports 814x414 or something odd.
I would really appreciate being able to detect the screen diagonal in inches, or the pixels per inch, or some other metric to decide the size of the apps controls... 😕
