Connecting ADF to Dataverse using SPN throwing error

Hi all,

I am facing a similiar challenge to what is mentioned here: Solved: Help with Azure Data Factory and CDS - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)

The App user is setup correctly as far as I can see, and is used for Devops pipelines succesfully.

I've confirmed my app user has the roles mentioned here but still getting the error: Failed to connect to Dynamics: Unable to Login to Dynamics CRM: Invalid Login Information : The HTTP request is unauthorized with client authentication scheme 'Anonymous'. The authentication header received from the server was 'Bearer authorization_

Hi @Jladan_ZA

I believe you were using OAuth based authentication to connect to your Dynamics Instance...I do faced similar kind authentication issue for my build pipeline but not exactly the same error message..below image might give you an idea....

Please note for OAuth authentication...you need to grant admin consent in Azure portal..preferably give admin consent for your App user in Dynamics and check....and post the feedback here...

So the App user in D365 does have admin rights, is the Azure portal admin setting separate? If soo I will need to get our azure admins to check that setting for me
