Super basic lookup field in a PowerApps form not working

I have a very simple lookup field in a list named DivLookup that pulls a single value from another list containing a division name.

I have added this lookup field to my PowerApps form. However, when I select it, nothing appears in the drop down.

The lookup field works fine in the list under grid mode, but not in PowerApps.

Do I need to put a formula in the DataField to perform the lookup myself? Why would the form not auto-populate this when adding a simple lookup field?

Thank you.

Hi, thank you for responding and asking. As it turns out, I had many blank entries in the drop down source list that I was unaware of when I created the lookup (the data was copied from someone else's list source). These blanks show up first in the lookup and not in the order of the source list, giving the appearance there was nothing in the list until I scrolled further down. The issue, if there is one, is the sorting occurred automatically which threw me for a loop. Thanks.
