I am using a Launch () command when a user hits "Cancel" on a PowerApps Custom Form. It works fine in Edge/IE. However, it does not seem to be working in Chrome or Firefox. For example, when the user hits Cancel in Chrome/FF, it just takes them back to the SharePoint List. Doe anybody know why this would be hapening?
Hi @Anonymous,
This is because the blocking pop-ups setting in the browser I think.
When I use Chrome to test this, first I got below warning icon, and the message is as this:
After I change the option to "Always allow pop-ups from ...", then the pop-up is no longer being blocked.
Please try to change this setting and test again.
Regards,
Mona
Thank you. That fixed the issue of the page not loading!
However, what is happening now is that the onCancel Launch targets a _blank page/tab and goes to the new url. But the tab that was originally used to complete the form defaults back to the SP list. Ideally what I am tring to do is have them forwarded to the main page and not have them see the SP list.
Do you know if there is anyway to have the onCancel Launch command load in the current page and not open a new page/tab?
Were you able to come up with any work around for this?
When a user Clicks Cancel, they are being redirected to the SP list, which is not an ideal case. I want to redirect them to a different page or a url altogether. Have been trying this from three days with no lock. Tried using Launch, Navigate but didn't work.
