What Subscriptions do I need to start using Dataverse?

I want to start using Dataverse when building Power Apps. I have E5 and common data service is enabled under my subscriptions. As this documentation states Licensing overview for Microsoft Power Platform - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn.  However, I can't find Dataverse anywhere. I've looked under Tables on the PowerApps. I looked at Power Platform to see if Dataverse is listed. I looked in the Power Platform admin center and see Dataverse listed under analytics but thats the only place I found it so far.

Any input on this would be appreciated.

First check in Power Platform Admin Centre, form your environment settings, you are using an environment with a Dataverse database attached. If not, you may need to create a new environment with one. From there, you should be able to see tables form Power Apps maker portal. Hope that helps.

There are many kinds of subscriptions that allow you to use Dataverse, but I will assume you want to create an app with DV. Then, there are three common ways:

    1. Ask your admin to assign a Power Apps Developer license to your account (this kind of license is free). Then, you can create a Developer environment. This type of environment gives you access to (almost) every premium feature of Power Apps. However, this environment is limited to a small number of accounts that can access it since it's a personal development environment.

    2. You need a Per App Per User license ($5/month). This will allow you to access a specific application in a specific environment (even the production environment), with all premium features. So, 1 license equals access to 1 app. If you want to access two apps, then your admin needs to assign 2 licenses to you.

    3. You need a Power Apps Premium License ($20/month). Same as above, but you can use an unlimited number of applications.

    Hi Tuong,

I went with option 1. I have my dev environment but I'm still missing Dataverse from my options when I go into PowerApps. Is there something I'm missing? How do you create a Dataverse table?

    Thank you for your response.

In you homepage, click Table to access Dataverse

From that, you have multiple options to create new table:
