Power apps to SharePoint list help

I have a form in powerapps which the user inputs information which then fills into a sharepoint list. I am having an issue pulling the 'recipient' field into a 'person' column in sharepoint. Here is my current set up.

Any ideas? I can provide additional information if needed.

Ideally you might consider using a Classic Combo Box (Modern controls are really not production ready presently) and the DefaultSelectedItems would be Parent.Default. With a Modern Combo Box you need to add the field DisplayName as below (and maybe Email if you need it)
