How to display a name from the people picker field

I am trying to show the display name from a people picker field. Please help

If Name1 is the people picker field try using Name1.DisplayName in the Text property of the text box.

Thank you for your response but my people picker field is "Name" which didn't appear in the drop down. So I created a "Name1" field as a single line text (which did appear in the selection dropdown) and set the value as displayname from the "Name" field which is my people picker field. But it still does not display. Not sure what else to try?

Try and use just Name.DisplayName in the Text property of the TextBox

In your first sreenshot your in a Gallery. For the Gallery to call the function it would be in the Text property of the Heading 2 with the fx: Name.DisplayName or ThisItem.Name.DisplayName.

For the second screenshot it seems like your on a different screen showing form detail view. For that make sure the Items is YourGallery.Selected.

Hi vynnettekj,

If you would like to have text box to display the name of the person or group column type defined in Sharepoint list, we could change the Text function of the Text box with the formula below:
ThisItem.People.DisplayName

I need to copy the content on chang of check box.
I am able to get all values except the People Picker value.
Any help would help. !!
