Formatting issue with Edit form columns

I have a form that I created that was working fine but now I am having formatting issues. I am using an edit form with the "snap to column" feature.

I have my edit form properly formatted and ready to go like the image below. Everything was working and I could submit my information and transition between different screens.

Since the edit form was fine I started modifying the rest of my screens. One time while I was testing, my edit screen's formatting became messed up like the image below. I have tried redoing the "snap to columns" item and that does nothing.

    Hi beran42,

According to this doc about “Understand data form layout in Microsoft PowerApps”, I create an app using the feature “Snap to columns”.

I don’t get the issue when test the app. When I reopen the app, I don’t get the issue you mentioned.

Please try to turn off the Snap to column to see if it will work.

    Best regards,
    Mabel Mao

I appreciate the response. I'm unsure how to recreate the issue. Like I stated above, it was working perfectly and then it randomly started doing this. I've used snap columns multiple times before with no issue.

Some other things to note too is that it's on a iPad tablet sized screen. After the screen is messed up, the Y and X values stay the same but then the "Fields" section located below the "Snap to columns" gets randomized.

To make matters weirder and why I do believe it may be a PA issue, after I noticed the values were being randomized I wanted to take screenshots of before and after. I exited out of the editor (didn't save the change), then went back into the editor and did nothing different and then the edit form worked perfectly in the preview. I then went to the actual app and I still had the format issue.

What fixed this was changing the screen format.

You can do this by navigating to "file" in the PowerApp editor -> "App Settings" -> "Screen size + orientation" and change the screen there. After changing the screen I could change the screen back and it worked.

I sent the information into Microsoft and they are investigating why this happened in the first place but it's nice to have a work around.
