I made a power app, and I want to expose it on mobile phones and also embed the same power app into a SP Online site.
I set the mode to be portrait so it looks fine on mobile, but the "lock orientation" is disabled so it should change when the phone is rotated. But on a SP Online page using the power app webpart widget, it always looks in portrait mode, leaving a lot of white space around the app. Is there a way I can make the power app display in landscape mode in SP Online, or do I need to make 2 separate power apps (1 for mobile and 1 for tablet)?
Thanks that was helpful. Also the techniques described here helped too
To do this you would disable Scale to Fit, use the larger size as the basis, and use dynamic formulas to, based on the available overall screen size, dynamically adjust how it looks to make a responsive layout.
