Hello,
I am rather new to Power Apps and I have been following a few tutorials to learn how to create some applications. I am currently working on an application that only has 2 pages, a main data list page and a details page. In the app I was able to create a few input tools to filter the dataset and I would like to add a few more. However, adding more would clutter the screen so I would like to create a collapsible menu to house all of the input tools. I followed a few navigation menu tutorials that use components but I cant seem to get the input tools wired up to work with the application. Is there a way to create this? Thank you for the help!
I found an example of a settings menu at https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Canvas-Apps-Components-Samples/PPOC2020-Settings-Menu-Component/td-p/502954. To be honest I don't know how to import this into a blank app to test. I tried importing Component from the screen area and was able to get the menu imported but it gave an error for "MySettings". Not sure if I imported it correctly, it seems like some things are missing.
I will be referring you one more content that I believe explains this greatly.
I would be doing you an injustice if I try to explain it when this is already such a great resource. Please check it out by

Thank you! I believe this is what I am looking for. I will give it a go and let you know! LOL
