Send Copilot Agent generative answers to Power Automate

Hi everyone, I could really use your help.

I’ve created a Power Automate flow that assigns priority categories to unread emails in my Inbox.

Screenshots attached. Since the “Prioritize my email” feature isn’t yet available in Italy, I’m trying to replicate its functionality with the following approach:

Extract the Sender, Subject, and Body of incoming emails using Power Automate, and combine them into a single Output string via a Compose step.
Trigger a Copilot Agent from the flow to analyze the Output string and return a priority label: HIGH, MEDIUM, or LOW.
Use the returned value to assign the corresponding colored category to the email in Outlook

The flow is validated and working—the category assignment step functions perfectly (I tested it with a simpler setup).

The issue I’m facing is managing the Copilot Agent analysis and correctly passing its response back to the Power Automate flow

I apologize if you already resolved this. For me I would have either not have had the Agent do this part, or I would have separated my Tools (flows) into 2 separate ones. 1 to get the details, passing the email ID also. Then having another do the work, just in case you need to do it to other emails, even existing.

Hi @DA-21071707-0, you could use a prompt action into Power Automate flow:

Tip: I used the copilot assistance in create prompt window to write the instructions for the prompt.
